Meghan and Brooke’s wedding at The Mohicans Treehouse Resort and Wedding Venue in Glenmont, Ohio, was the perfect fall day filled with beautiful autumn colors, so much love, and unforgettable moments.

Getting to photograph their wedding was extra special because I had the joy of being friends with them before their big day. Being able to capture such meaningful memories for two people I care about made the day even more special.

When rain started falling during cocktail hour, the evening took an unexpected turn — and their first dance in the rain ended up being one of my favorite moments to capture! It was romantic, joyful, and a beautiful reminder that sometimes the unplanned moments become the most memorable.
